From very early on, Dr. Saba Ahmed has held onto the belief that your mouth is your gateway to your overall health. It is around this belief that she has shaped her personality and lifestyle. In 2007, Dr. Ahmed graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School after completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at The University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, TX. She has been a native Texan since 1993. Soon after dental School, Dr. Ahmed worked on her hospital-based residency (GPR), in Lee’s Summit, MO. This is where she was trained to work with medically compromised patients, kids with special needs, working on complex cases in a hospital based setting, and ultimately providing sedation dentistry. Dr. Ahmed is married with one daughter and lives in Cypress. In 2009, Dr. Ahmed continued her advanced training as a dentist in orthodontics and Invisalign (clear braces). Dr. Ahmed has a wide array of skills in all facets of dentistry. She is great with the young and the aging. She enjoys working with children and adults. She is great with kids. With her charming personality, excellent bedside manners, Dr. Ahmed’s patients know her to be friendly, understanding, and approachable. It is with no surprise that with her dental expertise and her warm personality, her patients always come back to her. In 2016, Dr. Ahmed joined The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education where she started her journey in Physiologic Dentistry, also known as Neuromuscular Dentistry. She has obtained advanced education in understanding TMD, facial pain, airway and sleep issues, myofunctional, full face orthodontics, and laser therapy on newborns and young kids who have tongue and lip ties, and much more. In addition to Village Park Family Dental, Dr. Ahmed’s devotion to dentistry resonates with her Houston community as well. Dr. Ahmed has volunteered her time with non-profit dental clinics. In case you think she looks familiar, she does! For her dental expertise, she has appeared on local news, participates in discussions about dental topics as well as delivers oral hygiene presentations at local schools! She is a forever learner and has an immense passion for dentistry.
