As a cosmetic dentist, nothing gives me greater pleasure than to provide a patient with the “smile makeover” of which they have always dreamed. I was fortunate enough to go into private practice over 25 years ago when the field of dentistry was undergoing a major change. Dental visits were no longer intimidating but, rather, much more fulfilling. People were walking through the door and requesting that their silver fillings be removed and replaced with white fillings. Adults wanted their teeth straightened, and teeth-bleaching became a luxury affordable not only for the rich and famous, but for all. Patients began taking notice of not just their teeth, but of their overall smile as well. Fast forward to the present: a majority of patients are now asking for “dental styling sessions.” In fact, they come in with their very own list of requests! We have arrived at a technological age in which we can reshape your smile in a relatively short period of time.
