Profile Description
Dr. Dina DiMatteo Iommazzo is an educationally qualified specialist in Prosthodontics; the ADA recognized specialty for Implant, Esthetic and Reconstructive Dentistry. She treats patients with a variety of oral health needs related to missing, diseased or malformed teeth, bite or jaw structures, with the goal of restoring optimal health, function, comfort and appearance. She is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the nationally recognized organization for the specialty of Prosthodontics, as well as the American Dental Association, the NYS Dental Association and the Ninth District Dental Association. Dr. Iommazzo is a graduate of NYU College of Arts and Science where she was awarded for academic excellence and service and volunteerism. She earned her dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry with honors in Fixed Prosthodontics. After completing a residency in general practice at the Long Island College Hospital, she went on to complete her postdoctoral education in Combined Prosthodontics at the University at Buffalo and completed rotations in Maxillofacial and Implant Prosthodontics at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Buffalo VA Hospital. She practiced for 25 years in Mamaroneck and Purchase, NY developing her interests in implant rehabilitation, computer assisted technology and creating beautiful life-like restorations for her patients. She is also a proud mother of three and an advocate for individual needs, who loves traveling, cross training, gardening, music and dance
